IMEDOS User Meeting 26-28 August, 2005
The first IMEDOS User Meeting was attended by numerous system users from all over Germany. The event in the scenic setting of the Thuringian Forest saw an intensive exchange of experience.
A result of the meeting was that uniform diagnostic documents were adopted and suggestions and proposals for system handling received by committed, interested participants. Practical cases were presented and discussed by the interdisciplinary audience. In order to set up a neutral platform on which to exchange experience and discuss and agree on issues, a working party "Retinal Vessel Analysis" was set up for future user meetings. The working party will also develop and adopt documents in the context of retinal vessel analysis. To ensure continuous documentation among all members of the working party, an internet site (forum) will be prepared. The first chairman is Dr. Edgar Nagel (Anton-Sommer-Str. 55, 07407 Rudolstadt), the second chairman is Dr. Michael Morszeck (ADC Hamburg, Weidenbaumsweg 2-4, 21029 Hamburg). The IMEDOS team will maintain a personal exchange of experience and interdisciplinary discussion among users at regular meetings also in future.
